I am back into a new semester, and I'm both exhilarated and afraid. I suppose the prospect of entering a new series of classes with new instructors is scary, but once you get back into the swing of things, you do well. Staying on top of the material is most important. I read the first five chapters of "Huckleberry Finn" twice, so I'm sure that if a pop quiz is given today, I will be prepared.
As an English Major, you have to continuously read and read and read. My predecessors know this well. In my tenure at UK, I've read well over 30+ books, but that's minimal compared to those in Medicine. So much has to be consumed, and there is a schedule to keep.
Today is my second day on the campus, beginning a new semester, continuing my education. For those that haven't heard from me in the past four months, I must say that I wasted the allotted time over Summer, and did nothing much of anything. But, I am back again at it, and I'm confident that if I put the work in, my studies will continue, and I will do well.
